The Minister for Finance and Personnel, Sammy Wilson visited eircom NI’s offices to celebrate the completion of the implementation phase of the Network NI project. During the visit the Minister was given a tour of the video conferencing facility and participated in a “live” meeting with senior representatives from the eircom team in 1HSQ as well as telecoms specialists in Dusseldorf, Munich and Stockholm.

Enterprise Minister, Arlene Foster welcomed eircom’s £8.5 million investment in Northern Ireland when she opened their new offices, in Belfast, today. Speaking at the official opening the Minister said: "It is particularly good news, in these challenging economic times, that eircom Northern Ireland has plans for a further £1.5million investment over the next 12 months in Northern Ireland, bringing the company’s investment here to over £10million".
